Vacuum assisted shot grinding

Vacuum assisted shot grinding is a method used to prepare or refurbish concrete and resin floors by removing surface contaminants, coatings, or irregularities while simultaneously collecting dust and debris. It combines the mechanical action of shot or abrasive media with a vacuum system, which captures the particles as they are dislodged from the surface.

How it works:

  • Abrasive shots (small steel beads or grit) are propelled across the floor surface to grind or profile it.

  • The vacuum system continuously collects dust, debris, and spent media, keeping the work area clean and minimizing airborne particles.

  • The process can be adjusted for different surface requirements, from light cleaning to heavy grinding or surface preparation.
