Play safe with a new wet pour rubber surface

We recently completed a 408㎡ wet pour rubber installation across two separate areas of an adventure playground in Nottinghamshire. The project was designed to provide a durable and resilient rubber play surface where safety and impact absorption were key considerations. Our rubber crumb flooring is a popular choice for playgrounds and adventure play areas, offering a comfortable surface underfoot and a large range of colour options to create an attractive finished space.

Our experienced rubber crumb installers prepared each area before building up the surface using two separate layers of rubber crumb granules. The different grades of recycled rubber were combined with a specialist resin binder and carefully trowelled to create a smooth, seamless and impact-absorbing finish. The rubber crumb installation took approximately 3–4 days to complete across the two areas, with the photographs showing the site before, during and after the work. Wet pour rubber

Wet pour rubber, sometimes referred to as soft tarmac or soft impact tarmac, consists of rubber granules bonded together with resin to create a flexible, resilient surface. It is particularly well suited to play areas where impact absorption and safety are important, while the wide choice of colours allows different combinations and designs to be created.
