We recently completed a large 900㎡ resin flooring project at an auto workshop in Northampton. With a substantial workshop area and a detailed layout requiring multiple colours, this was a project where careful preparation and efficient application were essential. The existing concrete floor was diamond ground to remove surface contamination and provide a suitable mechanical key for the new system, followed by repairs using epoxy mortar where required.

Once the substrate had been prepared, we applied the LFS primer followed by several coats of high-build resin in light grey and dark grey to create a hard-wearing auto workshop flooring system. The project also included extensive epoxy line marking using white, black and yellow LFS epoxy resin line marker, helping to create clearly defined working and traffic areas throughout the workshop. The large floor area and detailed colour scheme required a well-coordinated installation, with the team working efficiently to complete the resin floor within approximately 1–2 days and minimise disruption to the busy workshop.

Thank you to the whole team for working so hard on creating us an amazing workshop floor, at 900m2 it was not a small task but Tristan, Liam and all the team were fantastic throughout, they helped us with the design and even worked out of hours over Easter to meet our completion date!
