High build epoxy coating at a garage in Northampton – 250㎡

We recently completed a 250㎡ high build epoxy coating at a busy car garage in Northampton. The existing concrete floor was mechanically prepared to remove surface contamination, loose material and any areas that could affect adhesion. Mechanical grinding also creates the appropriate surface profile for the resin system, providing a clean, sound substrate for the subsequent coating application. Where required, localised defects and damaged areas were repaired before the epoxy system was installed.

Once the preparation was complete, several coats of high build epoxy resin were applied to produce a tough, continuous commercial garage flooring system. The multiple-coat application provides a substantial epoxy garage floor coating designed to withstand regular vehicle movements, workshop traffic and day-to-day wear. We also installed epoxy line marking to clearly define working areas within the garage. The complete installation was carried out in approximately 1–2 days, resulting in a hard-wearing, easy-to-clean resin floor coating with a clean and practical finish.
