About this project
We were asked to remove a large Tarmac stain from a concrete slab in Weedon Bec, Northamptonshire. Using specialist diamond grinding equipment, we carefully ground away the contaminated surface to expose clean, sound concrete, without unnecessarily disturbing the surrounding floor.
As experienced resin flooring contractors, we know that the foundation of every installation is professional floor preparation. Concrete floors are rarely ready to coat, making effective substrate preparation essential for good coating adhesion and long-term performance.
After the Tarmac had been removed, the area was thoroughly cleaned using industrial dust extraction and left ready for any subsequent repair, primer or resin coating. Our floor preparation services are designed to deal with contaminants and surface defects before the coating system is installed.
