Epoxy resin coating at an MOT garage in Kettering

We recently completed a 450㎡ epoxy resin coating at an MOT garage in Kettering. The existing concrete floor was first thoroughly prepared using mechanical grinding to remove surface contamination and provide a suitable key for the new resin system. Once the preparation was complete, we applied an epoxy resin primer followed by two coats of high-build epoxy resin, creating a hard-wearing and easy-to-clean finish suitable for a busy automotive environment.

As part of the works, we also refilled the expansion joints before completing the epoxy line marking required for the garage. Our experience in MOT test centre flooring means we understand the importance of a durable, practical floor that can cope with regular vehicle movements, workshop traffic and day-to-day maintenance. The complete job was carried out within approximately 1–2 days, with minimal disruption to the garage.
