A safer play surface for Moulton Primary School

We recently completed a 100㎡ wet pour rubber mulch installation at Moulton Primary School in Northampton, creating a durable and resilient surface for the school’s outdoor play area. The existing space needed a practical solution that could cope with regular use while providing important safety and impact absorption qualities. Our rubber crumb flooring is particularly well suited to schools and playgrounds, providing a comfortable surface underfoot with a large range of colours available to create a bright and welcoming play environment.

Our experienced rubber crumb installers prepared the area before installing the system in layers. The rubber granules were mixed with a specialist resin binder and carefully trowelled into place to create a smooth, seamless finish across the 100㎡ area. The rubber crumb installation was completed in approximately 2–3 days, leaving the school with a hard-wearing surface designed to provide excellent impact absorption and improved safety for pupils during outdoor activities.
